Our Mission

  • To eliminate maternal and child mortality among pregnant women in Uganda through community empowerment, research and advocacy.

Goal

  • To mitigate maternal and child mortality rates in hard to reach communities in Uganda.

Objectives

  • To equip health workers with knowledge and skills about maternal health care services.
  • To improve livelihoods of women so that they can support themselves and their families
  • To promote gender equality in vulnerable communities in Uganda.
  • To promote community awareness on maternal deaths and its implications on the community
  • To empower girls and women on how to avoid unintended pregnancies and how to handle pregnancies
  • To empower boys and men on how to avoid unintended pregnancies and support for their pregnant partners.
  • To promote evidence based research in maternal and child health
  • To advocate for improved health financing for maternal and child health
